CORBIN, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people are behind bars tonight, after Corbin police found an active meth lab in their car.

Barry and Lori Welborn were both arrested for manufacturing meth.

Police were first called to the McDonalds off of exit 25 for an assault call.

Officers stopped their car underneath an I-75 bridge.

That's where officers say they found a fully functional one step meth lab.

Both were taken to the Whitley County Detention Center.

The jail website shows Barry Melbourn also faces assault charges.
