Police find stolen car flipped on its top in Lexington neighborhood

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police found a stolen car flipped on its top in Lexington neighborhood.

People living on Red River Drive told WKYT they heard a crash between 4 and 4:30 Wednesday morning. One man says he came out and saw a car on its top in the road. He then realized his car was one of two the wrecked car had side-swiped before flipping.

An officer says the car was stolen from the Todds Road area.
Three men were inside the stolen car. Two were taken to the hospital to be treated. Police found the third on nearby Trent Boulevard.

Lexington Police charged 21-year old Rodney Powell with receiving stolen property. He is now in the Fayette County Detention Center.
