Police investigate after body found in trash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a trash receptacle in Louisville.

Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell told The Courier-Journal that the man had been injured and officers "do believe foul play was involved."

Officers canvassed the neighborhood after the body was found Friday by an employee of Greater Louisville Funeral Limousine Service who was emptying trash.

Nearby resident Omer Sublett said the neighborhood isn't great anyway, and "that this makes it even worse."
