Police investigating body found in creek

UPDATE:
We now know the identity of a man found dead in a Russell County Creek.

32-year-old Waylon Atchley of Russell Springs was found dead at the bottom of Indian Cave Hill road in Lily Creek.

Police tell us the death appears to be accidental and no foul play is suspected.

An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow.

Kentucky State Police is investigating.

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a creek today.

We're told it was found in Lily Creek, just outside of Jamestown.

Police are looking into the death and investigating whether it is suspicious or not.

We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
