Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are investigating a second robbery in just a day off of Highway 80 in Eastern Kentucky.
Police say the latest one happened after 11p.m. Tuesday night at the Double Kwik Marathon in the Hindman Community of Knott County.
The Clerk there told police that a man wearing an orange hoodie and a ski mask came into the store with a gun, and demanded money.
Police say there was at least one customer in the store at the time of the incident.
Police are not saying how much cash the man got away with, but they do believe the man fled from the scene in an older model black car.
This comes just one day after police say a gunman robbed the Cardinal Country store on Highway 80 near the Knott-Perry County line.
The suspect in that case is a tall, slender white male.
Police say he was wearing a black hoodie and a ski mask.
Police are still looking into the possibility that the two robberies may be connected.
