LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville police are investigating what caused a car to crash into the main offices of the Jefferson County Public Schools.
The Courier-Journal reported that a car ran into the Stewart Auditorium at the VanHoose Education Center at around 5:17 a.m. EDT on Monday. Schools spokesman Ben Jackey says the auditorium is where the Board of Education holds most of its meetings.
No information was available on how the structural damage to the building may affect future meetings.
Jackey says operations in the rest of the building were unaffected..
The amount of damage done to the building had not been determined.
There were no details available about the extent of any injuries or the driver's identity.
