LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A young man is facing serious injuries after a shooting Tuesday night.

Lexington police were called to an apartment complex on Winburn Drive around 8:40 p.m.

The Mobile Crime Lab was called to the scene.

A young man was rushed to the hospital who police say was shot in the head.

They tell us they've interviewed a lot of people and neighbors who heard shots. Two people were taken in for questioning, and they tell us they're looking for a third.

"The description is a male black, late teens early twenties, approximately 5 foot 5. He was wearing a black and white checked shirt, with jeans. He had on a dark colored hat with a teal rim on the hat. He had dreadlocks with some type of red beads or tips," Lt. Chris Young with Lexington Police told WKYT.

They believe the man they're now looking for can help them with their investigation. He's one they say was there when the shooting happened, but hasn't been seen since.
