LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators have released new information into the case against two men police say escaped from a Central Kentucky prison.

Lexington Police have now charged Christopher Melton and Tyler Roberts with burglary. Both had already pleaded not guilty to escape.

After escaping from Blackburn Correctional Complex December 1, police now say the two men broke into a home on Spurr Road and stole clothes.

Police say they also stole a truck elsewhere. Both men were later arrested in Garrard County.
