LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was found unresponsive at a Lexington home.

Police say around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, firefighters received a call about a man who had fallen down a flight of stairs on Alexandria Drive.

When firefighters arrived they say the man was unresponsive.

He later died at a hospital.

Right now, police are calling this a death investigation, but they do not think the man's death is suspicious.

His name has not been released. We're told he was in his 40's.
