Police make plea for tips in 2008 murder case

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Richmond Police need your help to solve a 2008 murder.

Police have renewed their plea for tips, saying they feel someone in the public may have information related to the case.

Debra Harrison, 54, was found dead in her home on North Street, near downtown, in May 2008.

Police had been called to the home for a welfare check because Harrison hadn't been seen or heard from in several days.

They found Harrison badly beaten on her bedroom floor. She died of apparent asphyxiation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Richmond Police.
