Our winter storm continues to dump heavy snow across central and eastern Kentucky. Look for our storm to taper off from northwest to southeast through the afternoon. One foot snow totals for several. Two foot snow totals for a few.
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - There's new information about a man found dead in front of a Nicholasville auto garage.
The Jessamine County coroner told us Wednesday the preliminary autopsy on Thamer Hasan, 41, of Lexington, shows he died from natural causes.
Officers were called out to Hadi Auto Sales off Main Street around 11 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of a body found.
Police say Hasan was one of the owners of the business. It hasn't been open at that location for very long.
Police tell us Hasan's family found him near the door to the garage. We spoke with several business owners nearby, and several of his customers, shocked to hear about his death.
"He's a real nice guy. He kept his shop clean. And he dressed real nice," Johnny Jones, a customer of Hadi Auto Sales told us Tuesday.
The coroner tells us Hasan does have a number of abrasions and lesions on his body. He thinks Hasan stumbled or fell several times before he died.
The coroner says a full autopsy will be completed before the death investigation is closed.
