Police pull over stolen car, arrest three juveniles

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police say an officer trying to pull over a car ended up with them finding out it was stolen.

It happened around 1:00 a.m. In the area of Eastland Parkway.

Police say an officer tried to pull over the car after he saw it on the road without its lights on.

The car sped off and after a brief chase police say they found the car crashed into a tree on Fort Sumter Drive.

Police say the car was stolen.

Officers at the scene were able to find three juveniles who had been in the car, but they say the driver was able to get away.

The three passengers were charged with receiving stolen property.
