Police questioning shooting victim's story

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is recovering after an early morning shooting.

It happened around 4:00 Thursday morning near Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Sixth Street. The man told police he was the victim of a drive-by shooting where six to seven shots were fired, but police say they could not find any shell casings.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The shooting remains under investigation.
