Police respond to home invasion in Lexington

Updated: Wed 12:03 AM, Nov 14, 2012

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police were called to the scene what they tell us is a home invasion Tuesday night.

They say it happened just before 10 p.m. at a home on Eddie Street, near downtown Lexington.

Police say two people were inside the home at the time, and two other people forced their way inside.

Police say the suspects showed guns and demanded money from the victims. We're told the suspects searched the home, and seemed to know what they were looking for, according to police.

However, police say the suspects left without taking anything. No one was injured.

Police say the suspects left in a green Chevrolet Corsica.
