Police say argument led to woman being hit by car in Lexington

Lexington Police say a woman hit another woman with a car, after the two got into an argument.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is facing a serious charge, after police say she intentionally ran over a pedestrian. The crime happened around ten Tuesday night on Michigan Street, off Georgetown Street.

Lexington Police say two women got into an argument. One of the women was later driving a car, when she saw the victim walking down the sidewalk. Police say she crashed into the woman, sending her to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver, Treina Ashe, is charged with a felony assault.
