Police say man injured employee during robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is jail, accused of injuring an employing during a robbery.

Court documents obtained by WKYT overnight show Brian Roe, 29, tried to steal a pressure washer from the Hamburg Walmart on Monday.

When he was stopped by loss prevention, police say Roe pushed a female employee to the ground, injuring her knee and elbow.

Roe will be arraigned on a robbery charge Tuesday afternoon.
