DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Danville police were called out to the hospital Sunday morning after a woman came in with injuries from an attack.
Police say Tiffany Baker, 30 and her father-in-law, James Thomas Baker, 65 are the ones responsible.
According to police, the dispute started inside a Danville home but then continued out on the street.
In a jailhouse interview, Tiffany says she was at the home visiting a friend from college,"His mom came back to the house and she was intoxicated and under the influence of drugs and alcohol and her and I got into it."
Tiffany claims she called her father-in-law to pick up to escape the confrontation.
Police say that Tiffany grabbed the victim by the hair, while she was sitting inside a car. They also say, James drove off dragging the victim down the street.
But that's not what Tiffany remembers from early Sunday morning.
"She reached inside the window to attack me and so I rolled the window up and then simultaneously my father-in-law hit the gas and she was drug a little bit I guess. But, she was reaching in to attack me so I rolled the window up to protect myself," says Tiffany Baker.
Police say the victim freed herself and escaped with non-life-threatening injuries. Her alleged attackers are now both facing a second degree assault charge.
