Police search for armed robbery suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for the man who robbed a gas station employee.

It happened early Monday morning at the Shell on New Circle, near Russell Cave Road.

Lexington police say the man got away with more than $700.

A K-9 unit was able to track the gunman to nearby Hollow Creek Drive where they lost the track.

Investigators say the suspect was seen wearing all black clothing with an camouflage bandana over his face.

Police hope surveillance video from the store will help them make an arrest.
