Police search for suspect after pharmacy robbery

Danville, Ky. (WKYT) - Danville Police are searching for a man who they say robbed the CVS Pharmacy on 2nd Street on Saturday night just before nine o'clock.

Witnesses tell Police that the suspect walked into the Pharmacy area of the store and demanded pills from the pharmacist. Police say the suspect implied he had a weapon and threatened to shoot employees if they followed him outside.

Police say he left the scene with an undisclosed amount of pills. Witnesses tell police the suspect fled in a late 90's model or early 2000 model Ford Ranger single cab pickup truck. They say it has a black tool box in the bed of the truck.

Police are looking for a white man, about 5'8 to 6'0 inches tall, with reddish hair with some gray in it. Witnesses tell police the suspect had a gray goatee. He was last seen wearing light colored blue jeans, brown work boots, and a blue jacket with a white stripe across the chest.
