Police searching for robbery suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are still looking for a man they say robbed an employee at gunpoint last night at a local hotel.

They tell us it happened last night near Nicholasville Road around 9:30 p.m.

The clerk told police the man showed a handgun and demanded money.

Police say the man, who is described as a male, black, around 200 pounds, last seen wearing a yellow hoodie and black pants.

Police say he got away with an unknown amount of cash.
