Police searching for suspect after Danville Cash Advance robbery

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Danville police are asking for your help, as they search for a suspect they say robbed a Cash Advance with a knife.

Danvill police say they were called to the Cash Advance in the Greenleaf Shopping Center around 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Police say a suspect entered the business, entered the business, demanded cash from the clerk while brandishing a knife and then fled on foot towards Shawnee Road.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 5'4" to 5'6" tall, 200 pounds, unshaven and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans, sunglasses and a blue baseball cap.

Detectives were able to view video from the store's surveillance camera.

It is believed that this is the same suspect that robbed the Cash Express on Hustonville Road on September 28.

Detectives say the video does show that there were several customers of the shopping center in the area at the time of the robbery. Danville police are asking anyone with any information to please contact them as soon as possible at (859) 238-1220.
