Carlos Hegge
A woman is recovering after police say her boyfriend doused her with boiling water.
Lexington Police arrested Carlos Hegge, 47, early Tuesday morning on Magoffin Street, off East Loudon Avenue.
Police say the victim suffered burns to her stomach, thighs and hands. The burns were so severe, police say her skin was peeling off. She was rushed to UK Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Hegge is charged with assault.
