Maysville Police detectives spent the last two days in Lexington questioning Patrick Donald, a man they're now charging with a Mason County bank robbery.

Lexington Police arrested Patrick Donald for driving under the influence. That arrest came just two days after two men robbed a bank in Maysville.

After surveillance photos from the robbery aired on TV, police in Maysville got tips from the public that Donald was one of the robbers. Officers there discovered that Donald had been arrested in Lexington, but at that point, Donald had already bonded out of jail. According to court documents, police say Donald used money stolen in the Maysville bank robbery to post the bond for the DUI charge.

Lexington Police picked up Donald for the bank robbery Monday at a home on Tatesbrook Road in Lexington. Police believe he's one of two involved in the robbery of the Security Bank and Trust on U.S. 68 in Maysville.
