AMBER alert canceled after children found safe

Authorities tell us three year old Summer Knasel, and her sister, four year old Lovell Knasel were found safe in Maryland on Wednesday evening.

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee issued an AMBER Alert after the children were were abducted by their parents, 32-year old Jeremy Knasel and 24-year old Ashley Norberg.

Police say the children were removed from their custody last week after it was discovered that Knasel and Norberg were manufacturing methamphetamine in the house with the children present.

Police say the pair took the children around midnight in Spencer, TN.

Police believed the couple may have been in Lexington on Wednesday morning. Police got a hit on Jeremy Knasel's cell phone around 11am. It showed he was near I-75 and Man o'War.
