Shooting at hospital possibly related to search for murder suspect

Police are on the scene of a shooting that took place at Pattie A. Clay hospital Wednesday night.

Hospital officials aren't saying much about the incident but it appears to have been a suicide attempt.

Police have confirmed they found a car belonging to murder suspect James Kelley in the hospital parking lot.

Police think Kelley shot and killed John 'Bud' Dacci and shot and injured Dacci's wife, Mary Ann, at the couple's Mercer county home. They've been searching for him since the couple was shot Tuesday night.

We're told authorities from Mercer county are on their way to the scene to investigate.

Officials say the individual shot his or her self tight outside the emergency room here on hospital property.

No patients or staff members were injured.

The individual involved in the shooting has been taken to U.K. Hospital. There's no word on their condition.
