LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - A popular restaurant near downtown Lexington will soon have a new home. Rob Ramsey, the owner of Ramsey's Restaurants, says the location at the corner of Woodland and High will close after the end of business Monday, which is 11:00pm.
The company's website says the location was the first Ramsey's to open in Lexington. It's been on High Street since 1989. Ramsey now has four locations in the city, including the one on High Street. There are also Ramsey's Diners in the Tates Creek Center, on Helmsdale Drive
in Andover, and on Harrodsburg Road.
Ramsey says the High Street location will reopen in February in a new location on Zandale Drive, off Nicholasville Road.
