Possible break in 2011 double murder case

Updated: Thu 7:03 AM, Aug 30, 2012

FLORENCE, Ky. (WKYT) - More than a year after a Kentucky couple was found murdered, investigators may have a break in the case.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office will hold a news conference Thursday morning to announce "significant developments" in the murders of Bill and Peggy Stephenson. They were found dead inside their Florence home after they didn't show up for church last May.

Since then, investigators say they've interviewed more than 200 people and followed up on leads in 14 states.
