STANTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The search is over for a woman accused of abusing a disabled adult who was in her care.
Jailers at the Powell County Detention Center tell WKYT, Ruby Richardson turned herself in Monday night.
The sheriff's office had been looking for Richardson for weeks. Investigators say the special needs victim turned to eating dog food because Richardson was not feeding her properly.
Richardson is charged with abuse, neglect and exploitation of an adult, and wanton endangerment.
