Prosecutors claim murder was planned

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The case continues against a Lexington woman charged with murdering her boyfriend.

During a hearing for Shayna Hubers in Campbell County Tuesday, prosecutors showed a text message they say she sent more than a week before Ryan Poston's death.

They say Hubers told the person she sent the text to that she wanted to shoot Poston and make it look like an accident.

Prosecutors say it proves Hubers planned the murder. Police say Poston was shot to death in October.

Also Tuesday, a judge refused to lower Hubers' bond.
