Prosecutors continue presentation against suspect

CADIZ, Ky. (AP) - Commonwealth prosecutors continue laying out their murder and arson case against George Luna in Cadiz.

The Paducah Sun reported prosecutors called 15 witnesses Wednesday.

Luna is charged with fatally beating 46-year-old Debra Hendrickson and burning her mobile home in Marshall County with her body inside it.

Hendrickson was killed in September 2007. Investigators found Luna was living with her at the time.

Luna was convicted of murder and arson in 2008, but a problem with a juror caused the state supreme court to overturn the conviction. After a second jury could not be seated in Marshall County, the retrial was moved to Trigg County.
