Strong and severe storms continue to push across central and eastern Kentucky. This action should begin to wind down over the next few hours.
It looks like we can say goodbye to the nice weather we have been seeing the past few days. Temperatures will hold steady in the 70s the next couple days due to clouds and rain. Spotty showers pick up today, but not everyone will see rain.
The best chance of rain remains on Saturday, but still expect at least a chance on Sunday. We continue to see the better moisture placement for the south and east. In those locations you can expect 1"-3" of rain from now through Sunday.
Once we move into next week our temperatures head back toward normal for this time of year, which is mid 80s. We will have at least a chance of showers and thunderstorms each and every day.
