RJ Corman sends dozens of workers to help with Isaac cleanup

Nicholasville, Ky. (WKYT) - More central Kentuckians have gone to the Gulf Coast to help after Hurricane Isaac passes through.

RJ Corman has 64 people deployed to Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi.

They have a dozen pieces of heavy equipment ready to help clear debris and fix storm-related problems on and around railroad tracks.

They work for a group of rail companies that include CSX and Norfolk Southern.

Officials tell us, as of Wednesday morning, the affected areas are still experiencing rain and high winds.

The Corman workers are waiting for damage reports as they stage equipment. Cleanup work won't begin until later Wednesday or Thursday.
