Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
We are rolling our way into the final weekend of June and it is looking like a rather stormy one across Kentucky. A plume of tropical moisture is working across into the region and this will help ignite widespread shower and storm action.
Scattered storms will be around through tonight with much better coverage of the storms for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will generally run in the low 80s for Saturday and mid 80s for Sunday.
Heavy rainfall is a concern over the next couple of days. A few strong storms will also be possible.
Scattered storms will continue into early next week as temps flirt with 90. A big change is coming for the end of the week with readings coming way down behind a cold front.
