Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. Flash flooding is the main threat tonight into Wednesday.
Heavy rain continues to fall across much of central and eastern Kentucky. The rainfall numbers continue to climb and most of the area has picked up 1"-2" of rain since Saturday afternoon. Another inch of rain is possible tonight.
There is still the possibility of some local high water issues, but widespread flooding is not anticipated.
Showers will continue tonight into Monday as our temps continue to run well below normal. Highs for Monday will top out in the upper 50s with some low 60s possible for areas that get some rays of sun.
Warmer and more humid air will move in for the middle and end of the week. That will be accompanied by the threat for scattered thunderstorms.
