Rounds of showers and storms will approach the area during the overnight hours. There is potential to see some heavy rain with this system. We could even catch a stronger thunderstorm or two as it passes through our area.
Rain will continue through Monday. Again, we could track heavy rounds of rain with some thunderstorms. The ground is saturated from recent heavy rains. If you put the 1"-3" of rain together with the recent rains, we could have some high water issues in some locations.
The rain will longer into Tuesday. Not only that, but temps will also be much cooler. Highs only in the mid 50s for Tuesday.
Big surge of warmer air will push into Kentucky on Thursday and hang around through the weekend. During this time most areas will see highs around 70.
Have a great one and GO CATS!!!
