A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
Gusty winds will continue to crank across central and eastern Kentucky through tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be rolling our way late this evening into early Friday morning.
Temps tonight will be in the upper 40s with highs on Friday hitting the middle 60s with afternoon sun.
Another rain maker blows in Friday night into Saturday. This rain will be much colder with temps only in the 40s for highs.
Milder air and sunshine returns for Sunday with temps around 60 degrees on a strong southwesterly wind. This will blow even milder air into town early next week with 70 degrees likely.
