More rounds of showers and storms will sweep through the area this evening. Some rounds could become heavy again. The primary zone of concern will be in Southeastern Kentucky. That's where we have a Flash Flood Watch running through Friday evening.
A stationary frontal boundary will slightly slip to the south and enhance the chances for storms. Especially, along the Kentucky/Tennessee state line. The chances will begin increasing Friday through Saturday.
The rain chances won't back off until late this weekend. Even at that point we'll still be staring at scattered showers and thunderstorms. The entire 7-Day forecast features a daily round of showers and storms.
The below average run with daytime highs will continue heading into next week. Most days we'll struggle to get out of the upper 70s.
