Rain-slicked roads factor in deadly crash

Tonight, Police think rain-slickened roads played a role in a crash on interstate 75 that turned deadly.

State Police say 30-year-old William Linton, of Lancaster, lost control of his car at the one mile marker in Whitley County late this morning.

Linton's car hit a dodge ram parked in the emergency lane.

Linton and three passengers were all taken to the hospital.

Police say one of those passengers, 38-year-old Shannon Leffew of Tennessee, later died.
