Clouds moved in quickly today as temperatures topped out in the mid 80s. A few spotty light showers developed in the afternoon but most of the Bluegrass stayed dry. Heavy downpours could move in as soon as the overnight hours with a few thunderstorms as an upper level trough moves up from the Gulf. Rain will become widespread on Monday as an area of low pressure moves across the region. The rain is much needed now that we have a deficit of 4.5" from normal rainfall. We can expect another round of rain on Tuesday as a cold front passes in the morning. For the rest of the week look for more sunshine and seasonal temperatures.
Have a great day!
