Rand Paul, Jack Conway to offer spin at debate

DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Two political foes in Kentucky politics are making themselves available for media interviews around Thursday's vice presidential debate at Centre College in Danville.

Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and Democratic Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway will be among the throng of political pundits offering spin to reporters covering the only scheduled face-to-face matchup between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan.

Paul and Conway faced each other in Kentucky's especially heated 2010 Senate race. Paul won. Conway then went on to win a second term as attorney general.

Just like in their Senate campaign, Paul and Conway will be at odds again in Danville. Paul is a Ryan fan. Conway favors Biden.
