Rand Paul gets engaged in other US Senate races

DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Rand Paul's political action committee is airing TV attack ads against Democratic senators in Florida, Ohio and West Virginia.

Paul said Thursday in Danville that Rand PAC is spending at least $500,000 on the ads targeting U.S. Sens. Joe Manchin, Sherrod Brown and Bill Nelson.

In Danville to attend the vice presidential debate, Paul said the PAC may spend as much as $750,000 in the races.

An aide to Paul said Rand PAC is planning to expand its attacks to other Democratic senators in two other states next week. The aide wouldn't identify the states.
