LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - For the first time in its history, the annual "Red, White & Boom" concert and fireworks event has sold out.
This year's event, sponsored by 98.1 The Bull, will be held Friday, July 5 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark and will feature Rodney Atkins, Randy Houser, Craig Morgan, Brett Eldredge, Josh Tompson, Cassadee Pope, Eric Paslay, Rachel Farley and Will Hoge.
According to organizers, Red, White & Boom is a rain or shine event. However, severe weather could delay or prevent a Red, White & Boom artist from performing at the designated time, all efforts will be made to stay on time. If this is not possible, some acts may be cancelled in the event of weather.
Children ages 3-12 years old get in free, but require a ticket.
The following items may be carried by patrons through all gates at Red, White & Boom:
•Cellular telephones and cameras (patrons required to turn electronic items on before entry is allowed)
•Purses, Backpacks, duffel bags and baby bags (all subject to search)
•Strollers (only if carrying a child - no other items allowed)
Items that may not be carried into Red, White & Boom include:
•Food or Beverage of any kind
•Weapons of any kind (includes all knives and scissors)
•Bottles and cans of any kind (includes all beverage and regular hand, face or body lotion containers - glass or metal)
