The holiday weekend will be ending soon and so will our run in the mid and upper 80s. A cold front will be sweeping across Kentucky and bringing a nice change to the area. The front could certainly trigger a stronger thunderstorm. Keep an eye on the skies if you have some outdoor plans.
Once the front passes through the commonwealth we'll see a big change. Highs will fall into the low and mid 70s during the first part of the transition. Overnight lows will hover in the mid and upper 50s. Not only will temps fall, but humidity levels will also decrease significantly this week. This is all very fitting since it is now September.
Get out there and enjoy these spectacular days and cool nights.
