LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have released a report about a crash involving a fire truck that killed a woman walking across a downtown Lexington street.
According to the Herald-Leader, the report released Tuesday says Lauren Roady, 27, was crossing North Broadway legally, and had the right of way at the time the firetruck hit her in December of 2012.
However, the report says there were some factors that could have impaired the driver's vision, including rainy weather, Roady's dark clothing, blind spots on the truck, and lights that reflected off the wet road.
