Restaurant closed due to roach infestation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Lexington restaurant has been shut down, after inspectors discover a roach infestation.

According to the Herald-Leader, the Fayette County Health Department has closed the Mi Mexico restaurant, on East New Circle Road, after receiving complaints about roaches there.

The Herald-Leader reports inspectors found roach intrusion on the food, adding that several openings in the building needed to be sealed.

We're told the restaurant is now doing pest control. The Health Department is planning to conduct a follow-up inspection.
