Reward for missing woman set to expire

Updated: Wed 7:43 PM, Nov 28, 2012

LEBANON, Ky. (WKYT) - "You just don't disappear off of the face of the earth without someone seeing you," says Sheila Tingle, mother to Kara Rigdon, who went missing in July of 2010.

Sheila Tingle continues to wait for answers in her daughters disappearance, "You have good days and you have bad days. Any mother could tell you that a mother's love never dies."

Tingle hoped that the $11,000 reward fund set up after Rigdon vanished would encourage someone to come forward with information, "We had to send out disclaimers and in doing so, you have to have an ending date. And so we had thought by now, that it would have been solved and it's not."

The reward fund expires on November 30th at midnight.

"I want someone to come forward and I want justice to be served," says Tingle.

With time now running out, Tingle hopes the reminder of the money will help bring answers about Kara to her family.

"There's not a day that goes by that you think you're going to get that phone call saying, we found her or whatever the results may be. To tell me that she is either with the good Lord up above or she's here on earth," Tingle says.

Police have arrested Kara's estranged husband, William Robert, "Bobby" Rigdon several times for unrelated charges since she vanished.

If you have any information in Kara Rigdon's disappearance, you are urged to contact Kentucky State Police.
