A Flood Watch and a Winter Storm Watch are out for the entire region late Tuesday through early Thursday. Heavy rain develops Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and may put down 1”-3” in some areas. Arctic air pushes in from west to east on Wednesday with heavy sleet and snow taking over. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of a Kroger employee has increased to $25,000.
Indian Hills Mayor Tom Eifler has agreed to contribute $5,000 to the reward fund. St. Matthews Police Officer Dennis McDonald told WAVE-TV in Louisville that the funds will be added to the existing $20,000 reward put up by Kroger and others for information about the slaying of 34-year-old Jack Combs.
Police say someone shot and killed Combs on the evening of Nov. 23 as he walked to his car in a parking lot behind the Kroger in the Louisville suburb of St. Matthews. Combs had just left work.
Police say the shooter targeted Combs and that his death had nothing to do with drugs or a woman.
