Lexington, Ky (WKYT) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says temporary lane closures will be in effect for the Leestown Road overpass on New Circle Road, starting Friday night. The state says the closures are necessary for bridge deck restoration work.
The left, fast lane, in each direction will close at 8:00pm Friday and remain closed until 5:00am Monday, August 13. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times and the state says appropriate signage will be in place to alert drivers.
The work is subject to change depending on weather.
