Robber uses stick to attack Lexington worker

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is recovering after being attacked during a robbery.

The crime happened at a warehouse located at Lewis Street & E. Third Street. The victim tells WKYT he was working on a trailer tire, when he heard a noise. He says that when he turned to investigate, someone hit him in the head with a stick.

The man tried to fight back, but the robber with the stick demanded money. The victim says the robber took $150 from him.

The robber was last seen running toward Goodloe Street. The victim describes the robber as a black man, standing around six feet and weighing 220 pounds. He was wearing a black or charcoal colored hoodie, white shoes and blue jeans. He also has a scruffy beard.
