Robbers who took off with a man's car didn't get very far.
Police say a man pulling into his driveway on Morrow Alley, near North Broadway, was approached by two teens on bicycles. One pulled out a gun and demanded the man's car. The victim struggled with the young robbers and was eventually hit in the head.
As the robbers were trying to make their getaway, they crashed the man's car into a parked car on nearby Third Street. The robbers ran from the scene.
Lexington Police say the victim was treated at the scene for the injury to his head.
